Text on the monument:
"On the night of 26-27 April, the air fleet of 557 aircraft was sent to Duisburg to target ground targets. On the way back to their home base at Langar (UK), Lancaster I W4171 with hull code "E-MJ" was attacked by a German night fighter. The aircraft crashed in the fields behind the Volmolenbaan.
All crew members lost their lives in the crash.
The victims are buried in the Schoonselhof Cemetery in Antwerp."
