Founded in 1986, the "Les Libellules" Hotton club is made up of members of all ages who share a common passion: everything that flies ... or can be made to fly....
Its main goal is to promote aircraft construction , especially among young people. In this versatile hobby you will not only learn about aviation, but also about carpentry, composite materials, mechanics, electrics and electronics. It is not necessary to have knowledge in each of these areas and this is the importance of being a member of a club : everyone shares their knowledge for the good of all and with a common goal: both piloting and piloting of all kinds around them to discover and improve models. . Be it airplanes, gliders, flying wing, helicopters or other UFOs powered by thermal or electric engines.
In the open air , they can fly models that weigh more than ten kilos . But progressive miniaturization makes it possible to produce aerobatic models for "indoor" flights that weigh less than 150 grams without much effort!
The field is accessible 7 days a week.
