Brewery Distillery Pirlot started in 2011 after the renovation of the old farmhouse and the construction of the new section on Heistraat in Zandhoven, so that the first beers flowed from the brew kettles in September. The Proeverij is open every day except Monday and Tuesday. Visitors can enjoy a Tripel or 3-Dubbel with a view of the kettles. Real brewery visits must be requested separately. Brewery Distillery Pirlot aims to become a true tourist stop. Tourism Province Antwerp (TPA) has already established the Governor Kinsbergen route along the brewery, and the Conscience bike route also passes by. The home port of Kempisch Vuur is also situated among a network of walking routes. In the meantime, you can already taste nine varieties of Kempisch Vuur beer in that old Kempish farmhouse.
