Nice long walk along the playful river Ourthe. More than half of this walk winds along the river. Many beautiful viewpoints but also many valleys and climbs at the beginning and end of the course. Therefore, bring enough water and set aside 4-5 hours for this adventurous walk.

The tour starts from the parking lot on Rue du Hérou. By a winding path, we descend through beautiful viewpoints to the river. Once at the bottom, a "flat" promenade of nearly 6 kilometers runs along the Ourthe with many spots and nice views. Here you will certainly find a beautiful rock half in the river to picnic and enjoy the running water. On some trails along the river, a tree will need to be avoided by crawling under it or climbing on it. You also sometimes encounter a rope that offers extra help for a difficult passage. And sometimes you have to overcome a rock by climbing on it. It is 6 kilometers long enjoying all there is to see. But be careful! Sometimes it's a lot of jamming.

Finally we leave the valley at the bottom of the remains of a Celtic camp. It is a very difficult climb that is better to do winding. Once at the top, we pass some remains of the Celtic camp and a beautiful view of the Ourthe valley. The road back to the car park is mainly downhill and uphill and is the most difficult part of the route. Expect some big climbs here. In spring and summer we find a real paradise of flowers here in some places.

Once you arrive at the parking lot, you can say that you had a very nice adventurous walk. Tired but satisfied!
