Damp is a municipality in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde in Schleswig-Holstein. It is located on the Schwansen Peninsula by the Baltic Sea.
Damp is situated approximately 16 kilometers northeast of Eckernförde on the Baltic coast. To the west runs the Schwansenstraße from Eckernförde to Kappeln. The municipality includes the village of Vogelsang-Grünholz, as well as the localities of Dorotheenthal, Fischleger, Hegenholz, Nieby, Pommerby, Schwastrum, the Damp estate, and the Baltic Sea resort of Damp directly on the coast. The holiday center, opened in 1973, is connected to the Schwansenstraße by the simultaneously constructed county road K 61.
