Waldachtal is a municipality in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, located in the district of Freudenstadt. It belongs to the North Black Forest region.
Waldachtal lies at the transition from the eastern North Black Forest to the open landscape of the Gäu between the district town of Freudenstadt to the west and Horb am Neckar to the east. The Waldach, which begins near the southern border of the municipality as Schneckenbächle and flows through Waldachtal in a northern direction, becomes the most significant tributary of the Nagold.
