Gohrisch

Gohrisch is a Saxon municipality located southwest of Königstein near Pirna. It belongs to the administrative community of Königstein/Saxony.
Gohrisch lies in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains on a plateau to the left of the Elbe River. The main town Spa Gohrisch is located 3 km south of Bad Schandau. The isolated table mountains of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Gohrisch, Papststein, and Kleinhennersdorfer Stein, along with Laasensteine, Spitzstein, and Katzstein surround the municipality with its districts. The prominent table mountains Lilienstein, Pfaffenstein, and the fortress Königstein are in close proximity.
