Leezen is a municipality in the district of Ludwigslust-Parchim in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is managed by the Crivitz Office, which is based in Crivitz.
Leezen is located on the eastern shore of Lake Schwerin. The district of Rampe is directly on the Paulsdamm, which has divided Lake Schwerin into two halves since the 19th century. The Ramper Moor is a wooded wetland on the shore of the lake and is protected by nature conservation laws. To the east, the municipality borders Lake Cambs. The majority of the municipal area is used for agriculture. Besides the Ramper Moor, there are only larger forest areas in the south with the Hohen Holz. In the south, at 85.5 m above sea level, is the highest elevation of the municipality.
