The Nike missile site Oedingen was a 16.08 ha large anti-aircraft missile site of the German Air Force during the Cold War. As part of NATO's nuclear sharing, in the event of a crisis, tactical US nuclear warheads would have been mounted on the missiles, which were stored in buildings on the site of the launch position. The site was part of the so-called Nike belt for NATO's air defense and was located near Lennestadt-Oedingen in the district of Olpe.
