Borkener Aa

The Borkener Aa is an 11-kilometre-long tributary of the Bocholter Aa in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It rises in Buschhausen, south of Heiden and crosses Marbeck and the Borken city centre, where it flows into the Bocholter Aa from the left.
The Engelradingbach rises in the core of the farming community of Buschhausen south of Heiden. From there it flows westwards and forms the city boundary of Borken and Heiden for a short distance. To the south of Marbeck, it first crosses under a railway line and then reaches Haus Engelrading, after which it is named. From here it flows north across the Marbeck settlement area. In the middle of Marbeck, the Bruchbach flows into the Engelradingbach. Further on, the Dorfbach and the Wichersbach also flow into the Engelradingbach, from the mouth of which the latter is called Borkener Aa.
