The Reuter Lake is a gravel pit lake between Nordwalde and Reckenfeld. It is the closest lake to Reckenfeld and offers a public barbecue area nearby. For fishing enthusiasts from Reckenfeld, the Sandruper, the Gittruper, the Franz-Felix, or the Westeroder Lake are recommended. The latter even allows for longer stays due to the adjacent Westheide campsite. Since there are small paths along the Mühlenbach flowing through the forest lake in Saerbeck, this lake and its surroundings also provide wonderful local recreation opportunities.
