The Saarbrücken exhibition grounds was an exhibition site that existed on the outskirts of Saarbrücken from 1950. It is to be converted into a commercial district.
The site is located on the outskirts of Old Saarbrücken at the wooded Schanzenberg and directly by the federal motorway 620. The site houses 13 halls and two large open areas on 7.7 hectares. Access is through a 30-meter-long underpass. Until 2006, the exhibition center housed on the grounds was served by the nearby and now out-of-operation exhibition train station, which was part of the Rosseltalbahn.
