Radbruch is a municipality located on the northwestern edge of the district of Lüneburg .
Since the municipal reform in 1974, the community has belonged to the joint municipality of Bardowick.

The municipal area covers 2,254 ha, of which 1,170 ha is forest and 806 ha is agricultural land.
The settlement area is approx. 240 ha.

Radbruch has 2,264 inhabitants (as of 30.6.2021) and has a very lively village community.
This is reflected in the activities of the many clubs and associations.

The community is located in the Hamburg metropolitan region, at the gates of Lüneburg and is well connected.
Be it its own train station or the short distances to the motorways.

There is a grocery store in the center of the village, two kindergartens, a primary school, two restaurants and the sports facilities of the sports club.

This is one of the reasons why our village is very popular with young families as a place to live.

Our community has a long and very well-known history.
This dates back to the 13th century, when Radbruch was first mentioned in writing.
