Description by the author

The route connects the four places Newel, Butzweiler, Lorich and Besslich together. With a length of almost 17 km of the height profile road it is very pretentious, but also very varied.

From the town hall in Newel the road runs past typical Eifel houses in large open spaces. Wandelars come to Butzweiler in a rustic wooded area. The town is in an upright sloping valley. The parish church of "St. Remigius" is worth seeing. There is also the Roman road, which impresses with its Roman history and a varied journey. Behind Butzweiler the tour goes a few kilometers up to the Premium hiking trail.

Lorich is reached along the typical meadow orchards. Along old chestnuts it goes through a beautiful forest to the next resting place. For the fourth and final location, Besslich will inspire with a beautiful panora view here. The last part of the route leads over the open country back to the starting point. In every village there is a way to eat something.
