Copenhagen is known as one of the most bicycle-friendly cities in the world. They have, among other things, "conversation lanes" that are made from "fast lanes" for the bicycle. Those conversation lanes are wide cycle paths where you can have a chat with two people. And the slightly more sporty and/or fast cyclist just zips past via the "fast lane".
