Ferring or Bovbjerg is a place in the Lemvig Municipality of the Midtjylland Region in western Denmark. It is known for the lighthouse Bovbjerg Fyr located to the south.
Ferring is located in the northwest of Denmark, approximately halfway between Nissum Fjord and Limfjord on the North Sea coast. The hilly landscape drops steeply at the edge of the village down to the beach, the only place in Denmark where a geological cross-section of the Ice Age layers from the last two ice ages can be found. A little north below the village lies the lake Ferring Sø. The surrounding area is particularly characterized by many individual farms, with the nearest small connected settlements being Trans and Fjaltring to the south, Dybe to the southeast, and the holiday home area Vejlby Klit to the north.
