Voer-Mellerup

Another classic for shore fishing is the stretch immediately south of Voer ferry landing on the south side of the fjord. Especially in early spring, there is a lot of fishing here, where migratory sea trout often gather and forage before the final exit from the fjord takes place in April-May.

At the cozy little ferry landing Voer-Mellerup, you can cross Randers Fjord in the small ferry "Ragna." There has been a ferry station here for nearly 400 years, and the need is still there. Mellerup is located right in the middle of the long and narrow fjord, so there are many kilometers to save if you cross the fjord here.

You can launch your own boat in Mellerup and from here fish a large part of the fjord's best spots. As a boat fisherman, you can cover many of the mussel banks that make the bottom uneven out here, and which appeal to both small and large fish.
