Zurriola Beach is one of the three beaches in the city of San Sebastián. It is located between the mouth of the Urumea River and Mount Ulia, and has an approximate length of 800 meters. In 1994, renovation works were carried out on the beach, which was previously virtually unusable due to the virulence of the waters. Thanks to these reforms, which included the construction of a breakwater, the beach increased its length, its waters became suitable for swimming, and its use multiplied.
