Santa María de Borredá is a church located in the old town and urban area of Borredá in the province of Barcelona, included in the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.
The church is situated in the historical center of the city. It has a basilica floor plan covered by a gable roof with Arabic tiles. It has three naves, with a rectangular presbytery, a chapel, and a sacristy. The side naves are quite narrow and used to house ancient chapels. The bell tower, which has a square section, is at the foot of the building and is topped by a stone railing. The building is constructed of stone and lime, and although it retains elements from the Romanesque period, such as the wrought iron door located on the south side, it is primarily a work from the late 17th century and throughout the 18th century. The current entrance door, on the west side, is Romanesque, with the doors made of wood and iron fittings. As for the interior, it is worth noting its pictorial decorations from the second half of the 20th century.[1][2]
