The Montserrat library is located within the belongings of the Monastery of Montserrat, [1] and it is known that since the foundation of the monastery in the 11th century AD, there were manuscripts, and since the 12th century AD, Montserrat had its own scriptorium, very active in the 14th and 15th centuries AD.
