In the commune of Gouy, 20 km north of Saint-Quentin, the springs of the Scheldt offer walkers and hikers a landscape of woods and plains on one of the Santiago de Compostela routes. This great European river originates from a brick basin at the bottom of a shady valley
The site has information panels on the history and the course of this watercourse. You will also discover a statue representing a dolphin. Lent by the city of Antwerp, this gift thanks the river for the prosperity it has brought to the city.
