Limes

Limes is a Belgian village belonging to the municipality of Meix-devant-Virton, located in the Walloon Region in the province of Luxembourg. It is part of the Gérouville section.
Located two kilometers from Gérouville and seven kilometers from Meix-devant-Virton, the village of Limes directly faces the French border to the southwest. The built-up areas of Limes line the Soye stream, which is called Courway at its confluence with the small stream of the Planchette, near the village's old mill. The Courway marks the border with France, starting from the westernmost houses. On the other bank of the Courway lies the small hamlet of Fagny, thus separated from the village and located in the municipality of Breux, in the Meuse department.
