The Château de Saignes, a historic monument, is one of the most important buildings in the Quercy region's architectural heritage. Built by Pierre IV de la Garde de Saignes, ambassador extraordinaire to François 1 in the 16th century, and renovated by its owners over the past 10 years, the château-museum offers a unique reconstruction of daily life at the beginning of the Renaissance, with themed gardens and an educational trail on the fauna of the Lot.
