The monument supporting the Virgin of the Chastelat was erected in 1923 according to a vow of the parish for having been spared during the 14/18 war. This statue is located near the route of the Cross of the Monk's Cross. From the town centre of Bresse, take the direction of Gérardmer by the Col de Grosse-Pierre. After the first hairpin, take the first street on the left, in the direction of Vagney. The monument is located upstream of the road, about 2 km from the Tourist Office.
