MOULIN DU VIVIER - LA MAISON DU MEUNIER

At the Vivier lock, the starting point for many walks and bike rides, 2 km from the town of Castelnaudary, discover a shared gîte: the "Maison du Meunier", with its feet in the water, on the banks of the Canal du Midi.

La Maison du Meunier is a charming building that has been restored in accordance with the requirements of Bâtiments de France, on the theme of the mill.
It comprises 3 double rooms and two family rooms. One double room is dedicated to disabled guests. The family rooms have a double bed and two bunk beds.
All rooms have private bathrooms. The decor is pure and simple.
La Maison du Meunier can be rented privately (for family reunions, weddings, weekends with friends, etc.) or by the room.

Shared spaces are the added value of coliving. Sharing common spaces facilitates incredible encounters and unforgettable moments. Rent a room or rent the Maison du Meunier privately: either way, you?ll live the Moulin du Vivier experience.

We offer exclusively local products. You'll leave this unusual place with recipe ideas based on the wide choice of flours on display! You'll also find sweet and savoury groceries, wine, liqueurs?
All these products, selected by us, are the fruit of our discoveries and our local culinary curiosity.
In summer, you can take away ice creams and cold drinks (sodas, fruit juices, beers, wines, champagnes, etc.). You'll also find plenty of food and drink for cooking on site. All you have to do is enjoy!
If you fancy a real Castelnaudary cassoulet, you can order it and enjoy it on site.
If you prefer to go out, there are plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach on foot, by bike or by car.
In the mornings, while we wait for our restaurant to open, we offer breakfast at an additional cost. You can also order bread and pastries made with Moulin du Vivier flours.
