Located in Impasse des Vergers, on the left, the washhouse was built in 1858? 1859. Note the handsome ashlar facade around the symmetrically arranged semicircular pedestrian doors, with a washhouse inside and a drinking trough outside. It was built to plans drawn up by the contractor-architect Baillet in Musseau, with the right-hand reconstruction of the nearby bridge over the Tille and a now-defunct village hydrant. The tender for the project was published in September 1858, and awarded to the contractor Bénigne Seuret de Santenoge for 2722.48 Francs. Outside, to the right of the washhouse, one of the last war memorials in Haute-Marne, created in 2014 by the Vals des Tilles Patrimoine association, stands out.
