At the foot of the Pyrenees, in the bastide town of Nay, you can come and meet Catherine, an artist, and her Atelier Esprit Montagne Pyrénées. The studio where she welcomes you is both a place to work and an exhibition space, where you can smell the Indian ink or paint as it dries. Come and discover her various creations: paintings, drawings, postcards, bookmarks and bags.
A passionate self-taught artist, she started drawing and painting in her teens. She works mainly in Indian ink, and also paints canvases using acrylic, oil and ink. The Pyrenees, with their summits, magnificent landscapes, rock faces and forests, are the inspiration for her work.
