Gîte Gaineko Karrikan-Mendizaleen Pausa

The gite d'étape is located in the center of St Etienne de Baigorry, next to the church and shops, at the gateway to the Aldudes valley, 6 km from Spain and 12 from St Jean Pied de Port. On the GR10, it's a welcoming stopover for hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists and fishermen.
Accommodation (heating in winter, bed linen and towels extra) includes 8 and 10-bed dormitories, 2-bed rooms and a room for 4 with disabled access (for 2 people), air-conditioning and private bathroom. Half and full board are available in the gite's restaurant, which serves traditional cuisine. The bar opens onto the shady terrace for a well-deserved rest. Reservations required. Requests for half-board must be made 48 hours in advance. Reception from 5pm.
