GITE DU MONTAGUT

In the heart of Corbières country, at the foot of Montagut, the gîte is ideally located on the Cathar castles route, between Carcassonne and the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean. The location is perfect for visiting the treasures of the Aude region, less than half an hour away: the wild beaches of Port-la-Nouvelle, the medieval city of Carcassonne, Narbonne la Romaine and its rich heritage, the Sigean African reserve and the Narbonnaise Regional Nature Park. The Corbières, wine country par excellence, opens its doors to you to discover the rich local terroir. Right from the gîte, hikers and bikers will be able to explore the magnificent surrounding countryside. The village is home to numerous shops (grocery, restaurant, tobacconist, etc.), so you won't even need to take the car. This charming character house has been tastefully renovated while preserving its original features, offering you the ideal comfort for your vacation in the region. The private swimming pool (2x4m, 1.40m deep, flat-bottomed) ensures that you can cool off and relax at any time of day under the Midi sun. The large private terrace with its pergola is ideal for lunch and dinner. Garden furniture and a plancha are at your disposal for your enjoyment. A private garden with deckchairs for lounging in the shade is also adjacent to the gîte. The area is fully enclosed for pets. You can park your car in front of the gîte or along the street (very little traffic). This character house is fully air-conditioned and flexible (each room can set its own individual temperature), and is all on one level. It opens onto a large 70m2 living room with a sitting area (sofas and connected TV), a library with books and films, a dining area and a fully-equipped fitted kitchen. The gîte has 3 bedrooms, each with a 160cm bed, storage cupboards and, above all, a private en-suite shower room (shower, double washbasin, WC). The 4th and final bedroom is also equipped with 160 queen-size bedding and a bathroom (bath, shower, double basin and WC). Laundry room and separate WC. WIFI connection. All-inclusive services (bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning). Pets welcome with good behavior. Baby equipment available on request.
