Way of the Cross : meeting of Sculpture and Lace
Created in 2016 and made by Marie Dreux (enamelled clay lace ceramist), the particularity of these sculptures lies in the integration of lace motifs in the terracotta. 13 bas-reliefs and not 14, because the original choice of the parish: the 13th station is a work in polychrome wood of the 16th century, a Pieta located in a side chapel, representing "Jesus is handed over to his Mother". Depending on the light, some stations take on relief and depth.
