Only 2 km from the medieval town of Sauveterre-de-Béarn, on the main road leading to Navarrenx, this picnic area, clearly visible from the roundabout, is a convenient stopover before continuing on to Oloron and the Pyrenean massifs (or returning there). 3 tables await you and, to preserve our beautiful nature, a dustbin. The rather large car park can accommodate several cars.
Once the meal, snack or why not the breakfast swallowed, for those who choose to stay in Béarn des Gaves, several possibilities of visits and activities are offered to you. Families could be tempted by the leisure base Expérience Béarn at 5 mn, the most curious will only have to choose between the discovery of Sauveterre-de-Béarn and its magnificent setting, Navarrenx and its impressive fortifications, or the calm and beauty of the Serbat Museum.
