Built in 1897, it stands in the center of the Place Haute, near the church. It was built thanks to the generosity of Pierre Louis Bonafy. This wealthy merchant, distressed to see the inhabitants suffering along a rocky and difficult path to get water, bequeathed the necessary funds so that the village, perched on a hillock, could have access to pure and abundant water at all times. This fountain, known to the Chatelauds as "La Margelle", consists of a large circular basin where water is continuously poured.
