Eglise Saint-Georges xix

A large nave of 8 meters wide and two small side naves of 4 meters wide, which makes 16 meters for the total width. Height of the bell tower: 30 meters. Total length of the building: 36 meters, including the choir, without counting the tower. Height of the great nave, from the pavement to the keystone: 13 meters. Height of the small aisles: 11.5 meters.

The central nave, including the transept, which is not very apparent on the inside, has 5 bays separated by beautiful webbed pillars: the last one, which is longer, is the forecourt, with its last doubleau serving as a triumphal arch whose supports hold the side altars of the transept arms. The five bays are cross-arched with doubleaux, a pointed arch opening onto the aisles replacing the formets. These five bays are also found in the side aisles, which are also vaulted with ribbed ceilings and doubleaux, but without formets against the walls, plus two small bays framing the tower which is in the work.

The heart has a bay identical to those of the central nave and an odd polygonal apse with 5 sides separated under the vaults by 6 ribs meeting at an axial keystone.
