The gîte's location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area of Sardent (shops) and the activities on offer in the area. Swimming at the Masmangeas lake (supervised in season), trout fishing (étang des puits La Chassoule, 2.5 km from the village of Sardent) or carp fishing (étang du Thouraud), municipal tennis court. Pontarion is 9km away and Guéret (all shops and services) 15km.
