The main activities of the libraries in the Sélestat intercommunity multimedia library network are as follows:

-the provision of "cultural leisure", documentation and research resources, whether ..:

printed (books, magazines, newspapers, sheet music)
audio (CDs, audio books)
video (DVD)
digitized or online (Bibliovox, 1D Touch, Philharmonie de Paris, e-readers)

-help and introduction to information retrieval (online catalog on the Internet, assistance to users in their searches, Internet training)

-lending of documents (books, magazines and newspapers, language methods, CDs, sheet music, DVDs, e-readers, etc.)

-promotion of the library's collections, notably through cultural activities (conferences, exhibitions, class visits, story hour sessions, etc.)

In general, it promotes access for all to all media, and in particular to new information and communication media (notably via a public digital space).
