Behind the parish church, in the former chapel of the Pénitents Blancs, Le gîte communal de Fanjeaux welcomes pilgrims following the GR®78, also known as the Voie du Piémont Pyrénéen, to Santiago de Compostela.
The gîte, which sleeps 6, comprises :
- on the first floor: an entrance hatch for storing, cleaning and drying shoes, a large dining room-kitchen-lounge. Available: kitchen utensils, crockery, induction hob with extractor hood, small fridge, bag rack, armchair, tea and coffee on arrival.
- upstairs: bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds, shower room (with hairdryer).
Village amenities (café, restaurant, grocery store, bakery, pharmacy, bus stop) are just a few minutes' walk from the gîte.
