Place des artists - Grasse

Place des Artistes was created in January 2024 with the aim of revitalizing the square and attracting tourists and locals back to this hidden spot.

In the middle of the square is a round kiosk-like pergola – often the setting for exhibitions, film screenings and temporary art presentations.

A collective of ±12 local artists resides here permanently, including ceramists, painters, photographers, calligraphers and illustrators. You can freely enter their studios, view their work and buy it on the spot or have it made to order.

Temporary projects regularly appear, such as “Robes N' Roses” : pink dresses hung around the kiosk during the ExpoRose festival – a playful and photogenic statement against the historical background.

They organize events such as film screenings, concerts at the kiosk (BB Style trio, etc.), monthly “Artiste à sa place” evening sessions in the summer and a real artists' market in June.
