This cave along the beautiful beach of Milopotamos is named Kryfo Scholio and means 'the hidden school'. You can find this name regularly in Greece. During the centuries-long Turkish occupation, no education was allowed in the Greek language. One did so in the so-called 'hidden schools'. The name of this cave suggests that this space was used for this purpose.
