The once quiet small mountain village of Exantheia now has a lot of tourist pressure due to the very successful restaurant Rachi. That restaurant offers a beautiful view of the sunset over the Ionian Sea from an altitude of almost 600 meters above sea level. And that when consuming a cocktail or a delicious meal. The small roads leading to the village regularly silt up before sunset with traffic from the tourists who struggle to get a seat in the restaurant. The Rachi restaurant also believes that everyone should experience that sunset with hip & trendy music that should make sipping of a cocktail a more pleasant experience. Nothing wrong with that in itself, if it was confined to the borders of the Rachi territory. But that music shimmers through half the village and rambles on into the lower valley and neighboring village of Kalamitsi.
