Description: The route leaves the village in a northerly direction, along the edge of the forest and between
the shady forest 'Buchholz' and on to the CR135, an old Roman road that follows about 1 km (milestone from Hadrian, which indicates the distance to Trier). It follows the edge of the forest (monument to Napoleon) and returns to the starting point.
Sights: Dalheim is a small village near Mondorf and Remich, known for the extensive excavations at the Roman site of Ricciacus, on the Dalheim-Filsdorf road. These excavations revealed an important "vicus" on the Roman road connecting Lyon to the Bas-Rhin (1st-2nd centuries AD). The abundance and variety of objects found here (a selection of which can be seen in the Musée national de Luxembourg-Ville) is astonishing.
