The Sint-Catharinakerk in the Dutch city of Nijkerk, is a Roman Catholic church that was completed in 1954.
The previous Roman Catholic church dates from 1819 and was also called 'the cathedral above the rivers'. This church had suffered greatly during the Second World War from the shelling that Nijkerk had to endure towards the end of the war. After the war it was decided to demolish the damaged church and build a new one.
