Wesepe is a village in the municipality of Olst-Wijhe, in the Dutch province of Overijssel. In 2021, the village had approximately 1,225 residents. Wesepe consists of two parts: the village center and ribbon development along the N348. There are also a number of businesses, shops, and other facilities along the N348. Wesepe is located approximately halfway between the towns of Deventer and Raalte, to the east of the two main cores of the municipality of Olst-Wijhe. The village is situated in the midst of meadows, which in turn are surrounded by several estates and forests. Wesepe also has various associations: a harmony, sports club, revue companies, and youth organizations. It has its own national anthem.
