Oud Valkeveen is a play park in Naarden in the Dutch province of North Holland. The park is located in the hamlet of Valkeveen, which is located on the extreme northern tip of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The estate on which Oud Valkeveen is located was formerly known as 'Oud Naarden' and was owned by a wealthy Amsterdammer who bought it and had a farm built there that was given the name Valkeveen. After 1880, a steam tram connection was created between Amsterdam and the Gooi. Many people made a trip to the estate by tram as there was a beautiful beach on the Zuiderzee. The owners of the farm on the estate then started a pancake farm in the farm to provide the visitors with a nap and a drink.
