The Dutch Reformed Church, now the church of the Protestant Community of Blaricum, was before the Reformation, like the church in Laren, a Roman Catholic church. The church was built around 1400, while the tower dates from around 1500. On March 26, 1696, a severe fire destroyed a large part of the village, including the church. In 1757, a bell was installed in the tower, cast by Pieter Seest from Amsterdam. In 1934, the church was restored and expanded with a church council room. In the portal of the church, there is a tombstone of Johan Stachouwer (1598-1655). Text on the stone: "Iohan Stachouwer Vrij Neer van Schiermonckoogh." Next to the church is the cemetery, on which, to the left of the church, there is a large old tomb monument bearing the name Faber.
