Castle Hoogenweerth, also known as House De Hogenweert, is a castle-like country house located on the right bank of the Meuse River west of the Heugem neighborhood in the Dutch city of Maastricht.
The house was already mentioned in the 15th century under the name Houweert. Over the centuries, it was owned by a number of mayoral and alderman families: Van Buel, Prenten, Swaelen, and Vaes. The owners of the approximately 10 hectares large estate had to surrender 54 barrels of rye annually from the proceeds of the land to the Beyart monastery.
