The Cathedral is a work of art by Marinus Boezem in the Crown Estate Het Loo in the municipality of Apeldoorn. It consists of forty tree stumps in bronze on a concrete foundation, placed in accordance with the plan of the cathedral of Reims. Queen Beatrix donated this work of art to the Crown Estate on the occasion of her 60th birthday to underline the connection of the House of Orange with this area. It was unveiled on August 21, 1999.
