The Oude Horn is an old polder pumping station. It is located in the old Culemborgse Vliet at the Diefdijk in Acquoy. The pumping station was put into operation in 1859. It is a scoopwheel pumping station, originally powered by steam but later replaced by an electric drive.
In 1962, the pumping station was decommissioned after a new pumping station, De Nieuwe Horn, was completed nearby. The Culemborgse Vliet was also rerouted for this, and the pumping station now stands by a closed-off body of water. The machinery that powered the pumping station has been removed, but the iron scoopwheel is still present. The building has been in use as a glassblowing workshop since 1978.
