Farm Halfwege

Farm of the long-front type with the ridge line parallel to the main road from Wateringen to Kwintsheul. The house and the two rear business sections each have a separate roof. The farm is constructed in a Craft-traditional building style, originating from the period 1600-1800 and remodeled around 1880, with twentieth-century extensions on the northern and western facades. The yard features fruit trees and a hay shed with standing finches under a gabled roof.
The farm is of general importance due to its cultural-historical and architectural-historical value as a rare example of a long-front farm from the late nineteenth century with an older core, in the Westland.
