Uiitzicht hill

An asphalt road forms a hard border between Wildenberg and Takkenhoogte/Meeuwenveen, the next nature area. It's not just the landscape that's changing. In the sky, swollen clouds crowd out the sky blue and the wind begins to stir. A heavy rain shower passes over and from the viewing hill in Takkenhoogte a slumbering landscape suddenly starts moving. Birches bend, the water surface of wrinkleless fens suddenly becomes crumpled with waves. From the hill you can also clearly see how farmland and nature border sharply together.
