The Velvet Cave is a system of tunnels in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. It was created through marl extraction. The historical tunnel system is located on the Daalhemerweg and is open for tours. To the northeast is the castle ruin with the Castle Pit beneath it, to the southeast lies the Wilhelmina Pit under the Heunsberg, and to the southwest is the Cemetery Pit. Also, to the south of the Velvet Cave is the Test Tunnel Daelhemerweg.
